The Low-Down on Jimmy Said

Jimmy said getting the money is the easy part. Jimmy said all you have to do is walk into First National Bank with a safe deposit box key and walk out with $100,000. Jimmy said the money is part of a stash of cash held by dirty cops who have stolen three million from various drug dealers. Even if the dirty cops notice the money is missing, Jimmy said they are likely to start pointing fingers at each other. Jimmy said all you have to do is keep quiet and follow three simple rules: no drinking on the job; stick to the plan, and don’t get greedy. Problem is, you changed the plans and took all the money.

You? You’re Pete Ransom. Never really amounted to much. You work at the Qwick Lube but now you have to decide who to trust. Maybe your wife Lindsay who works at the bank and secured the key? She only wants enough money to start a new life somewhere and knows that three million is going to bring a world of trouble your way. She’s stuck by you through thick and thin even though you’ve done her wrong on more than one occasion.  Still, she’d make a good ‘fall gal’ to pin it on if you’re leaning that way.

Maybe your best friend Earl? Earl’s on board with the change in plans. He likes the idea of living on a beach in Mexico with whatever girl will have him, but has trouble keeping his mouth shut and he has a lot of trouble with the whole “no drinking on the job” thing.

Maybe Dougie. You needed him to get into the bank under the guise of repairing a faulty furnace. Problem is, Dougie and his girlfriend Amber are a couple of heroin addicts that you can’t trust so you know you’ve got to do something about them.

And what about Jimmy? Sure he’s a smart guy but he’s just a bank manager, after all. How dangerous can he be?

The one guy you’re sure you don’t have to worry about is the small-town Sheriff who spends most of his time with his head stuck in a puzzle magazine. And, oh yeah, there’s a Little Lady Explorer running around town selling the best darn cookies you’ve ever had. What you don’t know, though, is everyone has their own plan.

Yeah, getting the money was the easy part. Jimmy Said, the motion picture, is all about what happens after you get the money.

Jimmy Said mixes the best elements of Film Noir and the Heist Film to produce an engrossing tale of love, betrayal and cookies. Fans of character driven movies such as Blood Simple, Reservoir Dogs and Blue Velvet will enjoy trying to tell the good guys from the bad and will be kept guessing as to who, if anyone, gets to keep the money.
